I arrived in Quebec, Canada as refugee via Pakistan in the year 2000. I completed my high school and postsecondary education in Quebec.

Why Volunteer for FOS?
F.O.C.U.S. on Seniors is one of the organizations that gives me opportunities to serve and empower Central Asian seniors, especially women facing multiple barriers rooted from war torn countries. I am able to utilize my multi-lingual skills in French, Farsi, Urdu and other dialects to help bridge their English literacy development.
