F.O.C.U.S on Seniors (FOS) is a grassroots organization supporting seniors 50+ in areas of social, educational, recreational and cross cultural activities. It was founded in 2007. Our mission/purpose is to enhance the quality of life of seniors by inspiring, supporting and integrating older adults and engaging them in a holistic program that enriches their mind, body and spirit.
Vision: Older adults and Seniors live active and enriched lives and are contributing members of the community.
Mission: 1. To inspire, support and integrate older adults and seniors by engaging them holistically in social, educational, recreational and cross-cultural activities that enrich the mind, body and spirit.
2. To be an advocate for older adults and seniors causes and concerns.
Rossbina's hobbies/passion: volunteering, travel , dancing movies & plays.
She is the founder/president since 2007 (11 years ) and has seen great changes while engaged around community development in N.E.
Hobbies/passion: Swimming, dancing, reading and travelling.

Nizar is a Certified Accountant (London), a designation equivalent to CGA in Canada. He has a wealth of professional experience and knowledge in finance and is currently on the Calgary Board of Education in Finance capacity. He has also worked on several boards, including the Aga Khan Development Network, Partnership Walks and Transportation, Citizen and Immigration, as well as other senior focused groups in his local community.
Nizar is dedicated to connecting people from different communities and the exchange of ideas and experiences from different cultures.
In addition to community volunteering, Nizar is also socially active in his workplace. He has worked closely with superintendents to organize ‘professional days’, headings its organization and budgeting. He is also a Fire Marshall and the Lead Group’s Treasurer.
Angela joined F.O.C.U.S. on Seniors in 2018, shortly after working for the City of Calgary for 27 years. She enjoys travelling and spending time with her grandchildren.
